It's been 3 months

Its been 3 months since my surgery (12/2) and I had my 3 month checkup last week...down 65 lbs, the surgeon was really happy, all of my blood work was great..I left there and went to my internist...he took me off my lantus (insulin for diabetes)...changed my oral diabetes medicine to a much milder version,  reduced my high blood pressure meds to a milder version, eliminated my cholesterol meds...I thank God every day that I had the surgery, even though it cost me my job .. I love all the energy I have..actually look forward to my walking and weight lifting everyday...if you have any question about getting the surgery...JUST DO IT...thanks to all my friends and family for the great support

Successing successing successing - that is what your post is - and it's so wonderful to hear!  Congrats on the job well done thus far and will no dobut continue to be done!  I have no right to ask you to explain the whole job thing - but I would also be lying if I didn't say I wasn't curious.  PM if you want to talk about it - and if not - totally understandable and I wouldn't take offense to it.

Congrats. Sounds like you may end up off some of the meds all together as time goes on. I am glad you are having such sucess and are feeling great. It continues to get better, I promise you that. LOL

Congratulations on the awesome weight loss and even more for getting off so many meds - isn't that a fantastic feeling?! Continued success to you - you're doing a great job!
