Good Morning everyone.

Same old stuff here! Work, go home, do wash, make dinner, get online, etc. I will probably head to bed early because I barely slept last night. Between my back killing me, Jantzen doing water aerobics in my belly and Johnny snoring...........I got NO sleep! Couldn't wait to get my coffee this morning. I may have to stop and grab another one on the way to the other office later this morning! LOL

Hope everyone has a wonderful day. It looks to be beautiful out today!

When life hands you lemons, ask for tequila & salt and give me a call!

Morning everyone - I'm back at work today - hubby was feeling a bit better and slept better last night although he's still home today. Took the dog to Fuzzy Butts so he could get some rest (hubby) and dog could get some much-needed exercise!

Found out earlier this week that my daughter is going into surgery tomorrow - about 8 years ago she had a hysterectomy and got a staph infection in her incision - since then she has had several bad bouts of MRSA - just found out that 3 spots have settled into her old incision area and the doctors can no longer lance the infections and the oral antibiotics just aren't effective. So she will be going under the knife tomorrow and hopefully they can cut these infections out and she'll be rid of them. She wasn't sure how long she'll be in the hospital. And yes, I was PO'd when I found out she wasn't telling me - her husband called to thank me for his b'day gift and sort of mentioned it thinking she had told me. She said she didn't want me to worry. Kids!

Other than that not much else new in my world - just keeping an eye on hubby to make sure he is doing better - we're watching his blood sugar more than anything right now - hopefully he will start eating today.

Sorry to hear about your daughter, Kathy.  MRSA is soooo incredibly difficult to deal with. I'll be thinking of all you guys!  Glad hubby is slowly feeling better, though!

Prayers for your family situations Kathy, hoping all goes well with both daughter and hubby!

Yay for having internet at home!  I hope it works out the way it is supposed to, Liz!

Your avatar is ADORABLE - I LOVE it!  And now we get to see Chris, too!  I saw everyone commenting on it yesterday - but my computer is a bit "slow" and wouldn't load the new pics.  So finally forced it into submission last night and deleted all the cookies and stuff and that seemed to have worked.

Anyway - on to today.  I MUST go down to NJ to pick up my other check and deposit it.  We kept having plans to go to jersey and they kept falling through.  In the meantime, I told payroll to fwd my paycheck to the ER thinking I would be there to pick it up.  Had I allowed them to send it in the mail, it would have already very nicely been sitting in my bank account.

After that we may be at Brian's parents house.  We'll see what everyone is up to and how everyone is feeling and what they need.

After that it will be the Barix meeting, which I totally can't wait for.  It's been way to long since I've made it to a meeting.
