Right out of the mouth of the babes

I had Heather when I was 38 and she is 14 now.  Some of her friends say to her your mom is old but she's really cool.  How is that for a twisted compliment?! Old but cool? A few of her friends say Heather's mom is really cool ya never know whats gonna come out of her mouth.  That one too for a twisted compliment! Kids the little blabbermouths! Ya gotta love it.

That's how my mom must have felt when I asked her how she came to CA from Oklahoma;  she said she drove out with my grandparents;  I asked her if they drove out in a covered wagon!!

She was only 27 years old at the time!

Little do they know, 40 is going to sneak up on them before they know it LOL  I'm just impressed they know the word "ancient" 

When I was little, my grandmother told me she was 21.  It wasn't until I found out my own mother was 28, that I was being lied to.  lol.
