Snow

its tuesday 3 pm and I haven't seen a single one of those evil snow flakes hopefully it will pass me by.  A girl can dream can't she? It wouldn't hurt my feelings any.

Pittsburgh area (I'm just North of Pgh) is supposed to start seeing it about 7pm tonight...kids are looking forward to another delay/closing...we'll see.  I'd give anything to see a palm tree!

Some of it is coming up from the south - my friend who works at Univ of MD in College Park got out at 12:30 today because of snow - granted, she said it wasn't that bad, but I think it should be starting soon. Personally I'm glad its held off til now so the commute home isn't too bad.

 where's the snow?  we had a tiny bit off the Mainline in Philly overnight.  But nothing all day.  I wonder if the weathermen got it wrong again.

I'm just NW of Philly and we've got nothing yet.  Can't say it breaks my heart but judging by my knees, it's coming!

P-l-l--e-e-e-e-e-e-e-e-a-a-a-a-a-a-a-a-s-s-s-s-s-se-e-e-e-e, let there be a snow day tomorrow.  Philly never closes school, and I absolutely HATE, DESPISE, DREAD, driving in the snow.  I am praying for a blizzard, or at least a foot!!!!

If I had not had my car accident last year because of snow, I probably would feel differently.

Honestly don't mind driving in the snow (if my car isn't plowed in) - it's the ice and crazy people who THINK they know how to handle their cars in bad weather that scare the crap outta me.

All of the weather reports I had read said it wasn't supposed to start (at least in my area) till evening time like 6 or 7  I don't know exactly when it started; but I can tell you it was coating everything at 1am...and I'm about to go outside soon to take another look

The older I get, the less I enjoy the mess that the snow brings, but my dogs LOVE it.  I can't get them to come in the house....my male would sleep out there all night if I let him.  They roll in it, lay in it, bury their heads in it, eat it....they are like kids.

I had 3-4 inches here by noon yesterday. Then it started back up around 6 pm last evening and is non-stop. Only now it's a sheet of ice! Ugh. I would rather the snow and snow only. Schools are closed here today. I drove to work like a snail. And it's not supposed to turn to rain till 2 or 3.

My day ought to be fun since I have to leave thisoffice and go work at the other office from 10-3.

I want Spring. that darn groundhog better not give me the wrong prediction on monday! LOL
