Calories (and protein) in a Chicken leg
As a follow-up, even though most 1oz.=7gms they are different in composition. For example, 1 slice cheese (like the American Single) versus 1 oz. filet mignon. Pretty obvious that the filet will fill you and keep you filled longer than the slice of cheese which kindof melts as you eat it; thus, you'll get hungrier faster eating the cheese. The further out you go the denser you want to make your proteins so they "stick" with you longer. This prevents eating more per sitting and more frequently (grazing). You are supposed to be slightly uncomfortable (full feeling). If you constantly search for what goes down easily you set yourself up for failure further out. Instead, make the pieces smaller and chew longer until you get the denser stuff down.
