surgery yesterday

had surgery yesterday, got to the hosp at 7 was in surgery around 11 in my room by 3 - 3:30. Everything went really well and i feel GREAT. have a little discomfort from the gas but other then that no signifigant pain since 4pm yesterday i have done 7 laps around the nurses station. there pretty big laps to and have been sipping sipping sipping. had some broth for breakfast and am now sipping on cryslat light. dr says i should be going home today around 4, cant wait to be in my own bed a sleep a full night.

WOW - that is AWESOME!! Keep doing all that walking and make sure you keep it up at home. At home it is much easier to sit more - but it doesn't help at all for healing.

thank you, ill be home most of the time by myself so ill have to get my own water and things like that so that should help keep me moving but i will do my best to keep going.

Congrats on your surgery! Dr. Trang is the best. I am about 1 month out and if you need any advice or just a friend feel free to email me. My husband and I both had ours done on 12/22 and we are doing well. Again congrats on your surgery.
