***Tuesday Roll Call***
I am behind on everything this morning because of snow. I did not get to see my friend for coffee this morning. Had to come over to the school waiting to teach my class now. then I think I may have to call out from work tonight. I will be able to get there I think but getting home from harrisburg to lancaster at 12:30 tonight looks daunting. I hate taking vacation days for this mess.
So today foul mood, teach class, lose a vacation day.

Good afternoon Pam and Pa.. I'm late posting today because I was busy running around all morning. I took my daughter to the bus and then went to go for pre-endoscopy blood work.
Then, I went to a diner for breakfast while I waited for my primary care dr to open so I could try to get in to see why the he** my throat has not gotten any better. I couldn't get a hold of them right away, so I went to look at apartments while I waited for a call back. I found some prospects, but am not done looking.
Finally got into the dr around 10:30 and after I yelled at myself for digging in my ears with a Q-Tip (before they could yell at me), they decided that it was just an ugly mess in my sinuses dripping down into my throat, ears, etc.. and causing irritation. TG it was not strep. I was starting to worry. They prescibed a z-pac and a nasal spray, along with tea and soup and sent me on my merry way. Dropped of the Rx at the drug store, so I will have to make sure to go back out before the snow comes too bad here. (it hasn't started YET)
Now, I am working for 4 hours and then nothing but a trip to the drug store planned for tonight. I'm sure my daughter will either have a delay or no school tomorrow, so I am hoping she will be somewhat less needy of attention than she can be so I can get some work done.
By the way, I had the pre-op nurse visit last night. The surgeon's wife is actually the main nurse on the floor at the hospital and she led the session. We got so much great information about every step of the way.. found out that the rooms are all private! WI-FI, so I MIGHT bring the laptop with me.. but probably not. no set visiting hours, so people can come and go and if I want someone to stay over, they could.. I won't though. rather be alone for a day. so, this is just really showing me that it is almost here!!! 27 days from now!!!! yippee!!!!!

you are not gonna believe this one. I went into work today at Sams Club at 1:30 and only worked there a week and a half and was laid off. Can you believe that? I went through the background check and drug test and did the computer learning center only to be laid off. Can you believe it?! Wow that has never happened to me before. I was told if was nothing I said or did its just economy reasons which doesn't make sense because last week I was told they were short cashiers?? On a good note I have 2 job interviews this friday and am trying not to let this get me down. Have you ever?

After I did a background check and drug test and computer learning class. I was told it was nothing I said or did. They cited economic reasons. They seemed pretty busy to me. On a good note thank God I have 2 prospects on friday the only thing I didn't like about Sams is they do not give you alot of hours. I guess things happen for a reason. Its like people have to fight to get hours at these warehouse club jobs.
