B12 Injections - New post op

I give to myself because most insurance companies don't cover the B12 liquid that is used in the shots... but I think the bottle was 15 bucks and the needles were 10 bucks...

I do it myself... sorry not going to pay 15 bucks for my doc to do it each time... and the first time you get the shots you have to do it every day for 3 to 7 days depending on how low you are... I was 5 straight days and then once a month...

I also have the daily tablets for when i feel low during the month... but the farther I get out I don't tend to need them as much...

I gave myself B12 injections years ago.  I'm using the sublingual tabs now (Trader Joe's are the best as far as I'm concerned....they dissolve the minute they hit your tongue) but depending on my bloodwork next month I may ask to go back to the injections.  My surgeon wouldn't prescribe it; said I needed to get that from my PCP.
