Why you should always have trash in your car.

Heather,
That had to be the funniest thing I ever read on OH. Being someone who has peed on the side of the road before - I can truly appreciate your story. I have to pee all of the time - I think I have a bladder the size of a pea. I pee before I go anywhere and I have to pee again when I get there.
I do not think that I could pee in the cup - let alone while I was still driving. I think you should win an award for that one.

A karate kid and a contortionist!! I give you a world of credit for being able to do that - being potty-trained myself I have never, ever been able to do the squat and pee thing - always end up getting it all over myself!! Thank god I have a super-human bladder - I can hold it for hours on end. Comes from my days of working on a construction site on the Susquehanna River during one of the coldest winters on record and I had to use a Jiffy John - no way was I going outside with the wind whipping up and under that thing and freezing my touchie off, so I would wait all day and then run into my place that night straight for the toilet!! Used to drive my friends nuts when I could drink beer, too, because I could drink for hours on end before breaking the seal...

Heather,

You made me laugh good at that one and I have a story to share on the topic. . .

A week after I bought my new car, I headed off for Thanksgiving, first to visit my uncle in NC and then on to Florida, now I live outta my car, which means it usually has lots of stuff in it, but you know when you get that new car, at least, for me, the first month or two, you try to keep it nice and clean and empty. . .  well, I made great time on the first leg of my trip until I got onto Interstate 81 in WVA, I felt pangs of having to go the bathroom, but figured I could make it until the next area, so I passed an exit and then 3 minutes later, we slow to a crawl and then a stop, it was about 27 degrees outside, 1 hour passed, then another, then I was at the critical point, so I followed some other drivers who were driving on the shoulder of the road, there was no where to pee along the side of the highway, not to mention it the windchill factor was about 15 degrees, there was 3 miles to the next exit, I got to within 1 mile of that exit when this big ol truck driver decides to play "God" and blocks the shoulder from people proceeding. . .  he comes out to admonish us, like the bad children we were, at which point I lost it and told him that he needed to move that big old truck of his, that this woman here had to pee and was 3 hours past the point of no return, I used a few choice words when he told me that he needed to go as well, to which I informed him that his anatomy and mine were made differently. . .  he got back in his truck, but continued to block the road, traffic started moving a little bit and finally there was a place where I could get around the truck, at this point really thought I was going to bust, I finally got to relieve myself an hour later, moral of the story for me, is never put off nature calls. . .  I was not into showing my bare ass on the interstate. . .  but it was laughing material for my daughter who called in the midst of it all. . .  My g/f, who is a nurse, is in the midst of creating something for women who get in such predicaments, a device we can keep in the glove compartment of our cars, though when it will happen who knows.

Thanks for the humor.

Laureen

Poor you!  You should have climbed up into his truck and peed on his seat!  A coworker told me this morning that she keeps a couple Depends in her glove compartment LOL  I may have to do that!

Depends and Poise are not all there cracked up to be.  Unless your curve is an exact fit there will be leaks or total misses.  It certainly is embarrassing to step out of your vehicle in soaked clothing only to find out that your bladder control pad is totally dry.

I can relate to the pants thing. I took off dress pants on the way home from a job interview in Pittsburgh, but couldn't get my other pants on.

So I gave up on that, drove for a while in my underwear, then put on my jeans at the parking lot at Sheetz. An old lady saw me do it and gave me funny looks, but I didn't care. I had boxer breifs on, which are close enough to shorts for me.

Oh Heather....you are a RIOT!  I can't even imagine being able to do that....but I guess when you are at a loss for options, the cup works.  I think you should rename this thread "Another WOW Moment."  You never would have been able to do that 100+ lbs ago!!!
