hair cut advice

My hair is starting to fall out. Not badly. Yet. But it is. I was thinking about getting a short cut!
My mom is SOOO against it. Said i will look  like man. thanks MA!!! What men do you know had boobs this big!

Anyway.. did anyone cut their hair short or did you try to grow it out?? I like lots of haristyles and im up for something exciting..

I cut mine short....one it didn't leave such a pile of hair to clean-up...eewww.  Plus when the new hair grows back it won't be as difficult to style....because now little hairs are coming up everywhere!!!!  I didn't get it buzzed but a nice short cut. You can look at my pics if you want.

I got all mine cut off too - VERY short for me, there are before and after pics on my profile I believe and it made the trauma of loosing my hair so much easier to bear! It also got rid of the temptation to pull it up, which helped keep the stress off of the fragile hair. My husband was totally against it but loved it once I had it done - like he had a choice! lol

So why not - you have a new body why not a drastic new hairdo!

I dunno, I'm a big fan of long hair. I wouldn't cut it off.

My hair was loooooong down the middle of my back and I cut it into a cut just above the shoulders bob...it helped and now my hair is growing like crazy!!!  I say cut it a bit shorter but you don't have to go super short or buzz it!!!  Good luck and let us know what you decide!!

I had hair past my shoulders....and well after it started falling out I got fed up with it and had it cut.  To just above my shoulders...I guess by my jaw line.  There are pics on my profile of me in a nursing uniform (I think they are there, anyhow) which was one of the first nights after I got it cut.  Speaking of which, it is getting a bit outta control and I desperately need it done again.

Hubby wasn't to thrilled with the idea...and still likes it longer...but I've gotten kind of attatched to it being shorter.  He can deal.

I cut mind shorter because it was really falling out...big time. I just got it shorter last week...see the new pic. Anyway, my hair loss just now finally slowed down. It got really bad and it's nicer to have short hair so you can't see so much of it falling out.

Thanks for the invite tomorrow but my mom is having her surgery today and I will be down the hospital tomorrow for a vist and then the entire weekend next week but let's plan a get together. When are you going to Florida?

I am still pre-op so I have not experienced this YET.  BUT, I did go to get cut and color done last night and I told my girl that I wanted it cut, but not too drastically yet because in the next few months I may need to go drastic depending on how much hair I lose later. 

So, we went up a little bit in length now. It is right at my shoulders.  I'm thinking about going up a little shorter.  She told me to come back in the next few days if I didn't like the length and she would take more off.  But we were already discussing what might happen in the future.  I say CUT IT!  If you are brave enough to take the step, then do it!!! I like lots of styles too and was always too scared to do anything too different.

I guess that has changed because yesterday I went from blonde to a warm reddish brunette color and got it cut to just above the shoulders and am thinking about going shorter.  I'll have to see what kind of pics I have that I can post.   There should be some "before pics" on my profile now.  I'll have got take some "afters" so I can post them.

Can't wait for the "real" before and after pics that show my weight loss!!!

I cut mine short new body new hair lol, but went even short last time per the advice of my hairdresser to cover up some of the hair loss, i think i have pics in my profile also!

I cut mine not real short but shorter so it gave the hair some lift and less weight
