***Freezing Friday Roll Call***
See, this is why I work nights. Because despite being up at 5:30am yesterday and staying up till 11pm...I am awake again. I am hoping after this post to go back to bed and fall back to sleep.
My little outside temp guage on the computer currently reads 9 degrees, with a low of 4 degrees listed. I had also read on the full weather report that with the wind chill and what not today the low "real feel" will be something like -9 degrees. Today is definatley a fleece lined jeans/layers type of day! Make sure you stay warm - not only are these temps uncomfortable - they are down right dangerous.
Anywho....today is basically a lounge around at home day. I get to play my biweekly game of "empty the bank account before the bank realizes you have money in it game" I'm really good at that one! LOL The bills seem to suck my pay quite quickly, although not as quickly as it did in jersey. Then I need to empty the fridge and organize it. I know there are leftovers in there....but honestly don't even know what is good and what isn't anymore. Never a good thing.
Then it will be off to Wegmans to put more food in the fridge. The rest of the day will probably be spent in the kitchen making food for the cooking class tomorrow and just all around having fun.
This evening Hubby and I *might* go to the movies. Not real sure about that, and it probably won't happen. If not, we'll put on a movie here. Dinner will be "left over night" once that fridge is organized and we can figure out what we CAN eat.
My biggest accomplishment yesterday was that I did ALL the laundry AND...drum roll please....put it away! Whoo hoo!! I know...it sounds ridiculous...but I seriously have this problem with laundry. I generally get it all done...but rarely does it make it to its home on the same day, sometimes in the same week, as it getting done. I normally have at least one basket full of clean dried clothes just hanging out getting wrinkled. So...that little task makes me very proud of myself!
Have a great day, all!
Pam
Today is my appointment in Baltimore for Workers Comp. Then heading down to VA to visit with friends and relatives. Visit some stores and eat good food. I don't have alot to spend though. I have to be very careful. We were planning on staying through Sunday, but we may head back up tomorrow because the weather looks like it might behave haha. We shall see. In two weeks I head down here again for my Hearing in Frederick, MD. Then, hopefully I am done for these trips. I am praying for a good high settlement! That's it for today!
The weatherbug on my computer says it is -4 degrees. With the windchill its -16 degrees. Makes me want to go back upstairs and climb into my heated waterbed with the dogs that are still in it! (DAYUM smart dogs!) Today I work from 6AM - 2:30PM. My Health & Beauty order comes in today so we will have to break it up and stock it to the shelves. It will be a very physical day which is a good thing since the store will be EXTRA cold. Not sure what I will do once I get home besides exersicing. I actually look forward to that even after being on my feet all day at work. I'm off tomorrow! Cant wait.
How is your day shaping up?
Diane
I have a busy day at work so I am hoping that it goes quickly. I am feeling about 100 times better and am about 98% "normal" (lol was I ever "normal") anyway. Thats the excitement of my day!
Keep warm - unlike Norm my tan will have to wait for July. I am under so many layers my skin doesn't even know that there will be sun out today!

Fleece Lined Jeans
"ugg" boots
Tshirt
Fleece pullover
Sweatshirt
HEATED scarf (a gift from my brother...it has little inserts that you heat in the microwave and then put them into the scarf - OMG it's wonderful)
Winter jacket zipped
Headband/earmuff type thing
Lined Gloves.
And yes, I pre heated my car and kept the heat on while driving.
I'm not kidding when I say I definately looked pregnant. Or at least looked like my high weight. And ya know what...I didn't care. I did, however, stay warm!

Well I didn't sleep too well last night--a lot of tossing and turning but it just went along with the wild afternoon events outside my house yesterday...(insert big sigh here). So if you all could be so kind and just keep me and Barry in your prayers that everything goes smoothly and we can head to settlement at the end of the month and move out to the boonies(A.K.A. Pottstown)--I would soooo appreciate it. You all have been nothing but good to me and I really do love ya's to pieces!!
That said--Today I will be in a faculty meeting all day (so not fun! LOL) Then I will head home and work on some of MBA assignments, do some laundry, and vacuum upstairs, and put all the dishes away before Barry can dirty them up again when he cooks! LOL
Then tonight I might actually get to sit down and read some of my book I have been meaning to get to but you know how that goes!
I hope everyone stays warm on this very FRIGHTFULLY FRIGID FRIDAY!!! I know I am --I have on my husbands thermal shirt, my big heavy Flyers Jersey (going old school today #88 Eric Lindros!!) my jeans and two pairs of socks--on top of that my furry lined leather jacket and my gloves...no hat cause it really messes up my hair (Nah--I just don't have one LOL) Stay warm everyone!!!
Much luv!
