I have a different insurance but I would say your best bet is to call the insurance comapny directly and ask them.

Best of luck and sorry I couldn't be of more help!

My understanding is that most insurance companies are not allowing coverage for it but you should definitely give your insurance company a call so they can check your individual policy for you...Even though 2 or more people may have the same insurance carrier, that does not mean their coverage and/or exclusions are the same. All benefits are on a policy by policy basis so you should never rely on what another person had covered or excluded.

Just a bit of advice - Try to get the billing codes for the procedure that your doctor would be submitting to the insurance company.  By giving the insurance company the specific codes, you will get the most accurate benefit information.

Hope this helps!

Thanks so much Pam!!

Ditchin' the ticker allowed me to take another step forward in my journey...Stupid I know but now that I'm almost 6 years out, I need to find those little things to keep me going..That make any sense? I hope so.
