Susan words are BEYOND WISDOM.  Support groups should become as mandotory as sleep apnea testing, cadiac clearances, psych evaluations and pre-admission testing for weight loss surgery patients.  It should also STAY a major piece of the post-op WLS'ers life.  I spend approximatley 20 hours per month in support groups, whether I am leading, coordinating or attending.
No one can understand a weight loss surgery patient like another weight loss surgery patient.  No one can understand another person considering weight loss surgery like someone else either considering the surgery or someone who has already had it.
We NEED each other...forever, not just before the surgery and not just for a couple of months afterward.
Come and get what you need.  You will be amazed as the support and the community support will never leave you unless you leave it.

**hands up**  it's okay its okay!  Just wondering....

I do hope your response was sarcastic (hard to tell in only text with no LOL) cause you are a pillar of strength and although I haven't made it to a pre op since you have started running it, I hear you do one hell of a job there woman and we are all lucky, pre op and post op alike, to have you at the meetings AND on the boards.
