Hello Fellow Keystoners

I posted here a few months ago.....basically a "how do I get started" post.  You guys gave me some great info.  So I just wanted to post to say Thank you!!!!! and Ive started my journey.  Im currently doing my 6 month supervised diet and getting all my testing done. 

A little bit about me.......  My name is Cindy.  Im from the Fayette/Westmoreland County area. Im married with 2 teenagers.  Been overweight since my early teens.  Like most here, have done every possible diet under the sun.   Im excited to think I will *finally* get to a healthy weight, but yet at the same time, Im scared to death!!!!!!!!  lol    I look forward to getting to know everyone better.  Cindy

Way to go! I am glad that you are on your way. I know speaking personally that I am so glad to be on my way and can't wait for my surgery date. The people on this site have been wonderful and supportive, and I am so glad that I found it, and I know you will be too.

Welcome aboard Cindy!  I myself am not a fellow Keystoner (I actually live all the way in Boston!) but I had my surgery in PA so I post to this board instead.  The folks on the PA board are absolutely wonderful.  Good luck with your 6 month pre-op diet and all of your pre-op tests.  It's completely normal and very common to be both excited and scared about all of this.  Congratulations on starting your journey and taking that very big first step.  I'm looking forward to getting to know you better too!
