Sit-ups are hard. Push-ups are harder.

I've got some work to do.

After a way too long hiatus I hit the gym last night... Did 25 mins on the eliptical and 25 mins on the treadmill... Once I get myself used to working out again I'll throw some weight training in the mix... I'm actually really REALLY excited to be back at the gym.  I missed it more then I thought!

Hey Norm,

I'm only a day late in responding to your post, but I got my sorry butt to the gym last night, as I only managed to get there 3x over the holiday's and I put in 1 hour of cardio and 1/2 hour of weight/core training. . .  feeling good today as a result, not to mention I actually lost 3 lbs. over the holidays this year. . .

Have a great New Year, but then again, you are marrying Mary, so how could it be anything but great!

Hugs, Laureen

Hi Norm and PA!

Ok so I'm a few days late reading and responding to this post but I'm here nevertheless ;)

I worked out a lot while I was in Florida (went to the gym, walked/ran outside, played tennis and waterskiied!)

Then as soon as I got back to Boston, I got sick and was sick all last week and didn't work out at all :(

Still not 100% yet...wanted to get back to exercise this week, but I'm taking it pretty easy.

So here is what I did on Monday:
one 10-minute walk outside
40 minutes treadmill

If there are other workout posts for the week, I'll post in the appropriate thread ;)

Lisa :)
P.S. Norm -- I used a gift certificate I had to get the "Perfect Push-Up"...oh my gosh, they are SO hard (for me, at least!)  How you doing with them?

Lisa-

I do 20 push-ups right now, and I'm done. Going to bump it up next week and see how that goes.

They are MUCH harder to do than just regular push-ups.

I know!!  Tell me about it, Norm!!  Hope I'm able to get better with them too :)
