***New Years Day Roll Call***
I just realized I was a little out of sequence in my roll call...spending time w/ hubby and watching TV will be BEFORE bed...I must be pretty excited about the bed thing seeing as though I mentioned it twice.
We had a decent night at work - till about 2am then the "fun" began as parties let out and moron**** the road. During that time frame we also got a few "real" sick patients at well. I'm thankful that the morons only hurt themselves and no one else. I think what ticks me off more than anything is not their lack of judgement but their attitudes when they come in. The disrespect towards the staff is just unbelievable. grrrr I actually left pretty late today but oh well. I'm relaxing now...getting food together to pack for dinner tonight....waiting for hubby to wake up...sent my mom a happy bday text (yes, she's a new years baby) back to work tonight. Just realized I have a FOUR day weekend, not 3 day weekend after tonight, so that's even better!

Well Lorelei woke up from sleeping all night seeming more like herself... with a very full pee diaper... right now she is eating toast (hoping and praying that stays down) she is soooo hungry... I could hear her tummy saying feed me 5 feet away from her... and so far it is staying down... cheer...
I hope that later I can go to kolhs because i have a gift card and would like to look for a pair of pants... other than that... staying home...

130LBS GONE!!!
Happy New Year to everyone. My New Years promise to myself is to start being more consious of what is going into my mouth. I plan on using Fitday again. I noticed the last couple of months I've been straying from my protein intake. I have not been keeping a journal of my food intake and I have not been losing any more weight. I have 37 pounds to goal and the only way to reach this is to make sure that I am following this program as I was just 2 months ago. Anyway...so much for that.
I plan on going down my parent's for dinner today. My sister is making a turkey (yeah) and I will start the New Year out counting protein, carbs, and calories.

Good morning and Happy New Years to everyone!!
I really don't have anything planned for today, except to watch the Rose Bowl and PRAY PRAY PRAY that Penn State kicks some butt and comes home with a win for JoePa!!!
I've been watching the Biggest Loser on Bravo this morning. My daughter and I had thought about applying, but after watching some of this stuff, we both agreed we are doing a much better job on our own and do not need a tv show to help us get healthier.
I'm hoping everyone has a great day and an even better year this year then they had last year.

Good morning.. or early afternoon however you see fit. I am spending today doing laundry (FUN) and probably taking my daughter to see Marley and Me.
Last night, my husband and I got into one of our quarterly fights. He asked me if I wanted to work on things and when I said that I couldn't answer that question at that moment. He said that he would answer it for me and put his wedding ring on my dresser. I have been wanting this for awhile actually, but haven't had the guts to do anything about it. I think it was more like I need him around until after I have the surgery. I know that's not fair to him, but I am never selfish and feel like right now I need to be. We have too many differences and just cannot manage to work them out. He is a nice guy, never any abuse. We just are not meant to be a couple. We have lived like roommates most of our marriage. I certainly didn't want it to happen on New Year's Eve at 11:00p.m. but I guess it had to happen sometime. He left this morning around 9 to go talk to a friend. I guess he'll be back because he didn't take anything with him. I hope to be out with my daughter when he comes back.
Well, enough about that for now. I am happy to have today off to spend with the most important person in my life--my daughter. Back to work tomorrow, so I want to enjoy today! I'll try not to think about him too much.
This could actually be the best start to my new year. Looking forward to seeing some of you on the 17th!

Sorry to hear about you and the husband.
From an outsider looking in - it might be better if things happen before your surgery. What you need for surgery is a support person, not someone who you aren't really getting along with. I know the care of your daughter is probably the highest priority for you, which is to be expected and would need to be addressed for directly after surgery. However, depending on how things go, perhaps he could be able to do that even if not living under the same roof as you. And directly after surgery, besides the hospital stay and perhaps the first few days at home, you will probably be surprised at how much you are able to do.
I'll be thinking of you!
