Loretta, I am a few days late reading your post, but I just wanted to let you know how truly sorry I am that all of this is going on and I wanted to offer you my support.  I wish there was something I could do to change all of this for you and your daughter and I hope you both can find some peace and comfort somehow one day soon.

Thinking of you,
Lisa

Lisa,
Thank you so much for the support, it means alot to me that so many here are willing to just listen when I need to vent.
My daughter and I are doing better, it's a one day at a time type thing. (almost like addictions, one day, one minute at a time sometimes)
The most frustrating part is we had no communication with Victim Services and they were supposed to be looking out for my daughter and her interests. It seemed like once he was put in jail, they forgot about us. and honestly, we attempted to forget too.
Thank you again for being here, I greatly appreciate it.

You are very, very welcome Loretta.  I am really glad that you and your daughter are doing better and I think taking this one day at a time is an excellent idea.

I can't even imagine how frustrating that is to have had no communication with Victim Services when they were supposed to be looking out for your daughter.  I have no idea why they didn't get in touch with you, and it may not hurt to try to get some answers regarding that.  In the meantime though, I hope things continue to get better and that both you and your daughter continue to find peace and comfort through all of this.

Thinking of you,
Lisa
