***Monday Roll Call***

Hello all.. happy Monday.  I, too, am addicted to Facebook.  Add me if you want.  You can find me with my full name, Lisa Friedman Hunt.  I am back to work again.  It's been a crazy couple of weeks with work.  We are very busy this time of year.  Since I work for health insurance, it is open enrollment time and we are swamped! We have to work mandatory 5 hour of Overtime every week since the beginning of December until probably mid January or early February.  That should help time fly until my surgery.  My daughter is home from school the whole week.  Hopefully she'll find something to keep her occupied.  So far today she has not been a nuisance.  Granted, she is watching TV and will turn into a full fledged couch potato by the end of the week. But, right now there is no other option.  Maybe we'll take a walk at lunch time.  It'll do us both a world of good!  Not much else planned this week.  I have to work every day but Thursday.  Wednesday night for New Year's Eve, I will be going out to dinner with my husband and another couple we are friends with.  We were supposed to go to a casino night at the synagogue, but it got cancelled due to lack of RSVP's. :( I was really looking forward to it, but I'm sure we'll still have fun at dinner.  Not much else going on.. better get back to work  since I do actually have a lot to do.. I'm definitely wishing I had the week off about now, as the flurry of activity surrounding a mid-week holiday is neverending and I don't feel as though I was home for 5 days. . .  I did not have time to even get on my computer the last few days, but I am not complaining, it is nice to have family and friends and activities to attend to and in between it all I still managed to get to the gym 2x!  My youngest daughter is visiting from Florida and we went to see Marley and Me yesterday and are planning to do some stuff here in Manhattan on New Year's Eve, though I am hoping she will change her mind about standing in a sea of people to watch the ball drop, as that has never been on my list of things to do. . .

So I'm here at work and there are probably 10 or 12 people on my floor and the phones are not really ringing, though I did have some work to do, which is now done and I've been playing catch up to see what everyone has been up to on here, after that I will check out the Over Fifty Forum to see what my friends there have been up to.

Well I'm looking forward to seeing some of you on Saturday, as it is the 1st Saturday of the Month and our support group will be meeting at Barix then.  Hope you all have a great day!

Still battling this b*tch of a cold. It seems like it's just moving around my body...now it's a cough-fest instead of a runny-nose-fest.

I didn't realize that the meeting is this Saturday, Thanks Laureen!

Today has me fixing up the house and trying to get organized. Trying to get organized could take months so that is a perpetual task...lol.

I have been reading a lot of stuff on the web being sick with nuttin' to do and I have come to this coclusion:
