It's beginning to look a lot like Christmas.....(Eve)
Turkey is in the oven.....Roast Beef is in the crock pot....ham is prepared and waiting for its turn in the oven. Shrimp are cooked, veggies are peeled and cut, cheese and pepperoni tray is done and potato salad and macaroni salad are in the frig. And still lots more to do before my 40+ guests start to arrive around 4 pm. This is my annual Christmas Eve open house. I really have never looked forward to it because it's a LOT of work and it has always killed me in past years. By the end of the day I can barely stand. This year is sooooo different. I have all the energy I need to do all this, and much more.
I am off of work now until January 5th and I plan to spend every moment possible with my 2.5 year old granddaughter Abby (pictures on my profile). Sooo, you may not hear from me too much between now and after the New Year. But I didn't want to end my wonderful year without saying:
Happy Holidays to my wonderful OH family. I love you ALL!

Instead of complaining that the rosebush has thorns, be happy that the thorn bush has roses.
