OT - Resaturants.com
Karen Moore had told us about this website a bit back. You buy gift certificates for participating restaurants at a deeply discounted rate; they do come with restrictions (ex: A certain amount of $$ spent while there, minimum number of people, lunch only...whatever...they are listed right there and nothing is to outlandish)
Well, my mom just fwd me an email...if you put the code GIVE at checkout, it's an additional 80% off. Her friend just bought a $75 gift certificate for $6. Can't go wrong if you find a restaurant you like, or your family members like. Not to mention - if there's a place someone would want to try...might as well spend less in case you don't like it.
Just thought I would throw it out there.
