he is happy with the results

Nicole,
Glad to hear that another drain was pulled. 2 down only one to go, and that is PHENOMENAL
Don't compare yourself to what others are doing - you will heal in your own time and I'm sure once you are able to shower you will feel much much MUCH better.
And hey - tell the cats to go take a whiff of their litter box every once in awhile...that is certainly no bed of roses either!
You're doing great!
Pam

Instead of complaining that the rosebush has thorns, be happy that the thorn bush has roses.
"all it looks like now is frankenstein porn down there" LOL ... I said the SAME thing after my tummy tuck! The first few weeks/month post op are tough.. You look down and wonder how you can ever look normal again, I was completely freaked out (I also had A LOT of swelling and fluid collection under my skin) but had to keep telling myself "Dr. Bottger knows what he's doing, he wouldn't be calm if this wasn't normal". So no worries.. It took me 4 to 6 weeks to really look at myself and not be a little freaked :) Now it's been 1.5 years and my scars are barely noticable and I couldn't be happier :) Congrats on taking that step! and remember that it just gets better.
