Good morning!!

Going to the gym to warm up on the treadmill, then work with the trainer for 1 hr.  Last week I only made it through  1/2 hr with the trainer.  Today I WILL  make it through the whole hour!

Hmmm, does parking way far away from where I need to be count as walking?  I wish I was going to the gym...or had a Wii.  Have fun you guys!!!!

I have an hour karate class tonight.  After that, I will head to the gym for cardio on the treadmill.

I'm back, after some time off for holiday vacation.
60 minutes on the elliptical this morning, and 60 minute with the weights over lunch!

Cheers.

How long after surgery could you resume exercising?  My surgery date is January 6.

Each surgeon may have different "guidelines" and each patient varies in how much they feel able to do post-op (with regard to pain, etc) but for me, personally, I was walking around the house starting the day I got home, began walking on my parents treadmill maybe a week later, started walking outside a week after that and kept that up for the first few weeks.  By the time I was 5 weeks post-op, I was going to the gym.

Hope that helped a bit!

Lisa :)
