****Friday Roll Call****
Just sitting here and checking out the boards while I sip on my myoplex lite. Going to be working today from 6AM - 2:30PM.
I think I may have a UTI from the cath. It feels like I constantly have to pee. I'm going to try and drink as much water as I can today to see if that helps. If not I'll call my dr's office.
Hope you all have a great day!

TGIF!! I have work today from 7-3. I know this is horrible for me to say after being there barely two weeks - but I really don't want to go to work today. I contemplated calling them last night and telling them I wouldn't be in today (I am allowed to use PTO as of my first day of employment)
It has been a really rough week emotionally speaking. Brian did come home yesterday evening (he had left in a rage Tuesday night had not returned phone calls or texts and had not been home since) after a huge blow out. But anyway - he came home - we talked - ALOT - I cried - ALOT but good news is we got a lot of stuff sorted out. We still have a lot to figure out and to work through but we will get there. We're exploring different options for the future including therapy for us individually and/or couples counseling and possibly medications for him as he has been able to admit to me he is feeling depressed. Thanks to all my wonderful family here who kept in contact with me over the week to make sure I was ok. It really did make a huge difference.
So, anyway - when I get home....hubby will actually be here and we will continue to work through what needs to be worked through. I also have to clean out my car and get some paperwork together as we will be headed to get our pa licenses and what not on Saturday.
Have a lovely day all!

I got some sleep last night, and only woke up once to go to the bathroom. I am not as sore as I was last night, which is a blessing. I hope I get my bloodwork results back today.
Today I am heading into work to teach, or show a DVD to the kiddos. We have been studying world religions, and I am going to show "The Prince of Egypt" as a grand finale.
I was supposed to go to Wilkes Barre to see Mom this weekend, and to attend a continuing education workshop, but I cancelled my trip because of my pain. I will have to make up my CE Units later.
I hope everyone has a good day.
Hugs,
Trish

This morning I woke up and Connor woke up and everything was fine. I pour him a bowl of cereal and he proceeded to tell me that that's not the kind he wanted, but it's the kind he himself actually pulled out. So I blew up on him about how that was a waste and there are starving children out there and he would stand in the corner until it was time to get ready for school. I came in the computer room and about 15 minutes later he comes in and says that he ate most of the cereal!!! Kids, I'm telling you. I could have shipped him to China this morning.
So now I'm about to jump in the shower, take Connor to school, and then I'm heading to a viewing today for one of my close friend's from high school sister. She had been really sick the past year and lost a lot of weight, had not really gone to the doctor because of not having insurance. And a few months ago she finally went and they found out she had cancer that was like almost stage 4. So there was absolutely nothing they could do. She leaves behind two sisters, three brothers, a daughter and a grandchild and a bunch of nieces and nephews. Such a shame. So it will be a sad morning, that's for sure.
Nothing else planned, except for getting some transcribing done later today. Have a good Friday everyone!!!
Heck with the Quantum of Solace and Daniel Craig on the big screen today - how can it be anything but good. I have waited for months for this film.

I HAVE A CLOSET! Okay, I always had a closet, but no rod in it to hang my clothes on, I 've had a big mountain-pile of clothes on my floor for years now. I went out to Home Depot and got one of those $19.97 garment racks, my daughter put it together last night, I ripped out the shelves in my closet----and we wheeled in the garment rack. I now have a closet!!!Somewhere to put all the sexy new clothes I am going to get, right? I brought up my ottoman from the living room and put it in my room to store the sheets and linens that I've been keeping in my dresser, filled up my dresser with the rest of my clothes, got rid of what I don't want, and finally---no more mountain.
Today I want to install a picture wire on the back of one of my paintings----it came with nothing to hang it with! And I have a Sociology CLEP test in Newtown at 1......have to study for A&P and art history tests next week......tonight I might go out to Borders and Costco and shop for men....ummm...I mean books and bulk items!
Good foggy morning everybody - not the prettiest day out there, but its warmer then it has been, and I guess we should suck that up because its going to become frigid over the next week or so, and we know how cold we all get now - so grab the snuggies and bundle up, gang!!
Its Friday and I'm at work - no surprise there - BUT, I did start my Christmas shopping yesterday - woo-hoo!! Spoke to my daughter and she gave me a couple of ideas for my grands - the oldest, Lacee, is 15 and wanted a good digital camera, so I got her a nice Nikon, and last year I bought them a Wii system as a family gift, so this year they're asking for Wii Music, so I'm going to Wallymart at lunchtime and picking up one of those games. That will be a family-type gift. So I'm excited that I'm getting motivated to shop - my list is very small this year compared to other years - all my friends decided we're too old to buy for each other (personally I don't think we're ever too old, but I'll go with the majority). So anyway I'm happy about that.
My BFF is coming up tonight from Maryland and we're heading to Lancaster and the outlets tomorrow to do some more shopping - hoping to get my mom a couple of gifts while I'm out there - she adores Coach bags so I think I'll treat her to a new one for her trip to Florida.
So that's my day - hope everyone has a good one!
