even a total stranger said something

Hey everyone,
So I was at the GNC tonight picking up some of that Isopure and a sub-lingulal B12 (although my blood work doesn't look like I really need one).  And the sales guy, a total stranger - asked me "Sir, have you lost weight recently?".  I said,"Yes I have".  He replied "that's great - I can really tell".

Now I suppose it was because I was wearing a size 20" business shirt and I am now down to an 18".  I was wearing my "new" size 48" pants however I really should be wearing a 46".  And I guess the belt I was wearing had 4 new hole*****ed in so it had extra slack after the buckle.  Either way - I  either looked like a kid wearing their parents clothing or this guy in incredibly perceptive.

Either way - I took it as a complement.

I gotta stop wearing the fluffy clothes.....

Smileycons!

You should take it as a complement and should feel really good about yourself!

I too need to stop wearing the so called fluffy clothes but I'm so used to it.  I picked up a cute shirt for myself the other day and I bought it in a size too big.  Now when I wear it..It looks like I'm swimming in it.  It's really hard to break those old comfort clothes habits.

Keep up the good work!

Diane

Compliments are a big ego booster to all of us on our journey and I'm so glad you got one from a stranger - wow!! And I doubt it was the big clothing - bet he saw you in there before and noticed. Enjoy every moment of it - I savor those compliments and store them for when I'm not feeling so great about my weight loss or myself - they can really brighten your day then!!

Yeah, gotta get rid of the fluffy clothes - so you can see it in yourself, too - its amazing what a difference it can make in your mirror.

Greg,
Maybe the GNC guy saw you in the store before and noticed that you are thinner.
Either way - take the compliment and revel in it.
