I am leaving on business tonight after work...have to drive 2 hours up to our place in the poconos for a site visit at one of our client companies in Newfoundland, PA tomorrow afternoon....so, no gym for me tonight.  But, loading the car with my crap and two big and VERY excited dogs (You would think a trip in the car was like a trip to Disney World!!) is exercise enough I guess.

What are you doing today?

I'm in for an hour on the elliptical this morning.

I ate remarkably well today.

Lots of apples.

No Kit-Kat = no awful sugar gas.

Mary will be pleased.

Hey, Pam...I see that you've tried the WC Oatmeal.  How do you like it??  And if you're using 3/4 cup of milk, the protein should be more, shouldn't it??  Maybe I'm calculating it wrong.  I thought it added another 7 to the already 7 you get from the oatmeal.  But I could be totally off :)

I only use about 1/4 -1/2 cup of milk cause I like the oatmeal thicker than most.  And it has been awhile since I read the box...but I thought it was 5gm of protein in the package of oatmeal, not 7...but you are probably right on that.

And I absolutely love it.  Funny thing...I've been craving it lately.  Craving oatmeal - what a thought!!  It's been my evening snack multiple times this past week - not that the carbs are great and what not - but I guess it beats doritos!!

I've been using the "maple and brown sugar" one and adding some cinnamon to it.  Now...if I could find a peaches and cream one...that would be awesome!

I suppose you put yours in the microwave...that's what I do.  And if you cook it for longer than it says, it will actually thicken by itself.  And if you leave it sit for a few minutes in the microwave it will thicken.  I actually one time left in there longer than I wanted and had to add some more milk to it.  So add the whole 3/4 cup and just microwave a little longer.
