Has anybody used Dr. Trang.  I have met with him and really like him but I wanted to get some other opinions.

Thanks...

Hi Elva, I have never met Dr. Trang, he is relativly new to the Bariatric team there at Einstein, in fact when I had my surgery in 2007 he was not yet on staff with Dr. Dallal and his practice.  I would like to believe that given Dr. Dallal's reputation and his overwhelming sucess I don't think he would have anyone on his staff who is not competent in what they do.  Like PhillyGirl, I had my surgery with Dr. Dallal on 1/30/07 and was home the next day with no complications and basically no restrictions except for not lifting anything heavier than a half gallon container.  To this day I have been very healthy with NO problems surrounding my surgery.  I will be having my 2 yr check up in Jan. 2009 and I so looking forward to seeing Dr. Dallal & Linda again.

I don't know your docs...

But wanted to comment on your nervous statement....it's totally normal and it's ok to be scared.  Make sure you do all your research...and make sure the doctors are available and accessible if you have any questions post op.  You need to feel comfortable with asking questions to them...now matter "how silly" you might think they are!

Good luck!

Pam
