6 Months! I want my gift to be the Phils to bring it home!
Hi all! It is my six month surgiversary! Since I have had surgery my life has been a whirlwind. I don't remember ever being as busy as Iam now. So I am happy to take some time and write about the past six months. I have regained my health, that was the most important thing for me to do. This surgery was not at all for vanity! Looking good is the cherry on top! I would have the surgery again in a new york minute! This is the best decision I have ever made for myself. This is the only selfish thing I have ever done for myself yet helps me to be more selfless, I hope that makes sense! I carry my pictures in my bag and when I run into people that haven't seen me in a while I show them and they say with out fail, I don't remember you ever being THAT big! Well I take it as a compliment even though it's a little backwards LOL I have had more WOW moments than ever expected one for example that I love to share is I went in Dunkin Donuts with my son and hadn't been in there since before surgery and the girl behind the counter that I knew and she knew me had the i know you but don't know where from look on her face and it was great. I didn't say a word just ordered and waited. She looked over at my son and said OMG!!!! JENNIFER???? I would not have known it was you if I didn't see LC!!!!! She said so many things to compliment me and it felt so good. People don't even recognize me and I still think I look just the same only 90lbs less! I still see me! LOL Anyway, thank you to everyone on the boards for all the support, encouragement, understanding, advice, knowledge, willingness to share I could go on and on. I wish I had more time to get on here and catch up it just seems like I never have time, and I wanted to go to the first Saturday meeting and regretfully I am unabble. i am looking forward to seeing you all at the next Saturday meeting which I am so greatful we are able to have it on Saturdays now! I had my 6 month bloodwork done my triglicerides (ms?) are a little high which I can't figure out because once I eat my protein I can barely get anything else in but my family Dr says it could just be genetics but I will begin Omega 3 to try and get my triglicerides down..... My B12 is a little low so I will begin taking B12 supplements cause I don't do needles unless Im getting another tattoo, which I plan to! Everything else is all in range, no other problems to report! Take care and good night I'm going to watch the Phils bring it home! What a nice surgiversary gift that would be!
