"You're getting too thin...."

Remember, your mind is pretty much always 6 mos. behind.   And also remember that your cells are still constantly adjusting fluid as you are losing.    You may not be seeing the bones and others are but then again, once the fluids redistribute after you stabilize you will "fluff" (dare I use that new buzzword this way) back up??    I just learned all about this in a diabetic seminar; it is an actual physiological correction that takes place.    I was having the same experiences as you and I doubted myself.  This crazy journey can do that to you.   I was within 13lbs of goal and got the same comments and began freaking out; after a while I started with the carbs to force a maintain.....big mistake!  It opened a pandora's box.    Don't be me.   Just do what you were told until your doc (or Norm) says otherwise.   Trust folks that KNOW this journey themselves.    The rest can just go themselves.

Mary,

You look fantastic! Love the Rainbow Brite costume! I am still looking for mine. I am in Little Rock Arkansas so not really in a place I can try them on. LOL

Anyway, If you know that you look good and feel good and are not to thin, I wouldn't worry about it. I haven't lost weight in MONTHS and I get it at least once a week. Someone will say to me that I am getting to thin and I need to eat something. Mind you, I feel like I am always eating SOMETHING...LOL

It's just a whole different you then people are used to seeing so it takes getting used to. Eventually they will all realize that your body is in charge and it is going to take you where you need to be. You just keep doing what you are doing.

 AMAZING!

Okay Mary, listen to the good sister . . .  ah, frig it,  screw them!  Don't listen to it.  I have gotten the same remarks (not anymore though ~ yikes, weight is shifting again even though the scales move up and down within 4 to  pounds) and I knew and know that I am not too thin!  You will know when your body hits its mark.  And, I believe you will know when you feel draggy and the like if you get too thin.  I would love to lose about 10 to 15 pounds to give myself a nice cushion for my fluctuation but if I don't, well I don't but then again I am not trying.  Like you, I feel great and I feel healthy.

Be you!  Be Happy!  Enjoy!

Jan
