I am frantically  going through recipies on here and other sites to try and find something good to eat. Because.............

I CAN'T GET SONIC'S CHILI CHEESE TOTS OFF MY MIND!

I don't know if it's a preggers craving or what but I am day dreaming about those damn things so much I think I am making my man jealous. I need help!    LOL

well you can make your own chili sauce... and then add some low fat shreaded cheese to that... and then have a few tator tots... your body might be telling you it needs some carbs for the baby... but you can still have it but in a healthier form.... and think... chili is a great way to get protein in!!

LOL, I know you are right. Theres just something about driving up and getting them and having them instantly. I am trying out my will power! LOL

well you could always get a burger if you wanted to drive up and get something lol... I have never checked but they have any of those drinks of theirs sugar free? I love their burgers... Lorelei eats the bun and all the other stuff... and mommy get the burger and cheese hehehe...

Here are some different Chili sauce recipes... some of these you will have to make some changes like fat free mayo or 90/10 ground beef etc... but I know you know what to change lol... but here are 3 very different chili sauce recipes... so incase you get a chili craving again... and it might be a different kind of pregnancy craving... I got your back lol... and btw... I have made Paula recipe before... this is awesome on burgers!!

Chili Sauce:
1 cup mayonnaise
3 tablespoons chili sauce
1 teaspoon chili powder
1/8 teaspoon cayenne pepper

To make the chili sauce, combine the mayonnaise, chili sauce, chili powder, and cayenne in a small bowl and stir well. Cover and chill until serving time.

Ingredients

  • 1 tablespoon vegetable oil
  • 1 cup chopped onions
  • Salt
  • Freshly ground black pepper
  • 5 cups diced vine-ripened tomatoes, peeled and seeded
  • 1/2 small jalapeno, stemmed and chopped
  • 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 1/4 teaspoon allspice
  • 1/8 teaspoon freshly ground cloves
  • 2 cups white vinegar

Directions

In a medium nonreactive saucepan, over medium heat, add the oil. When the oil is hot, add the onions. Season with salt and pepper. Saute for 1 minute. Add the tomatoes. Season with salt and pepper. Saute for 1 minute. Add the jalapeno, remaining spices and vinegar. Bring to a boil, reduce the heat to medium low and simmer for 1 hour. Remove from the heat and cool completely. Pour the mixture into a sterilized 1 quart canning jar. Process the jar according to basic canning procedures. Can be used the next day or will keep for up to 1 month under refrigeration.

Ingredients

  • 4 tablespoons margarine
  • 2 yellow onions, minced, divided
  • 2 tablespoons chili powder
  • 2 tablespoons paprika
  • 1/2 teaspoon allspice
  • 1/2 teaspoon curry
  • 1 teaspoon dry mustard
  • 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 1 pound ground beef, 80/20
  • 1/4 cup water
  • 20 hot dogs
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 20 hot dog buns
  • Yellow mustard
  • 2 tablespoons celery salt

Directions

In a medium saute pan over medium heat add, margarine and 1 minced onion. Saute till translucent, but do not brown. Next add chili powder, paprika, allspice, curry, dry mustard and cinnamon. Then add beef, stir thoroughly and cook for 5 minutes, add water and simmer over medium to low heat for 30 minutes.

In a medium sauce pot boil hot dogs with salt and steam buns.

When meat is done simmering, add meat mixture to the hot dog in the bun, top evenly with minced onion, yellow mustard, and a sprinkle celery salt.
