My WLS journey is about to begin
It really helps to have the support of your PCP and other doctors you see regularly. I know my PCP and my ob-gyn were both in full support of my having the surgery, as well as the cardiologist I had to see, my allergist and the psych. For each of them there was no doubt that this was the best thing I could do for myself.
Wish you all the best on your journey - its a roller-coaster ride, so hang on!!

Hi Diane,
Nice to meet you. My hubby had his WLS in 2006, so I'm looking forward to my own journey. I'm not in any hurry as I'm going to be dealing with this blood clot for quite a while, from what my PCP has told me he's planning on cumadin therapy for at least 9 months so I'll begin my WLS process in a few weeks and see where we end up as far as an ETA for the actual surgery.
