WHOOP doing a saggy happy dance!
You all have been amazing with helping me with ideas... and because of that my stall broke... YES... Saturday still 221... today... 217... YES!!!
I hadn't had a chance to change anything workout wise... but after doing some digging on other forums here I found this... http://www.personal-nutrition-guide.com/support-files/gastri c-bypass-food-pyramid.pdf - which is a food pyramid for gastric bypass... and I would of never looked if you all didn't tell me to check out other forums...
Basically what the nuts told me was this...
4 to 5 carb servings
6 servings of protein (I only need 64 g)
3 to 5 of veggies
whatever of fruit...
I went down to the 2 carb servings... and added one more serving of protein and my stall broke... YES... so now to hook up with joldaker to come up with some workout ideas...
So new goal is to hit 200 by Christmas (which is about 11 weeks away) but I would be happier with hitting 195 by then... that is about 2 pounds a week... but I will be happy with 199 by Jan 2nd... that will be my 10th wedding annv. and my hubby has never seen me past 240 range when were dating... so be under 200 would be a great gift for both of us!
Thanks for sharing that link too!
I feel your pain - I was stuck at 202 for about 6 months! It was killing me - FINALLY when I had my gall bladder out I dropped to 195 now I have to get a new battery for my scale because this morning I was 13.5 pounds.... lol
Congrats - you deserve it!!!!!!!!!!!!!!11
Thanks again - and wish you all the best on hitting your goal by Christmas!!
Kathy
I saw Dr. Boe and the nut today and they told me everything we already know. Essentially they said eat 200 cal more on gym days and work out more (5-6 days). They also stressed that many patients have a significant stall at six months and then the scale will start moving again. Guess I'll keep doing what I've been doing and I'll try to stay motivated through the tough times.
Good luck meeting your holiday goal.
