Happy Surgiversary Eileen!
Ah, gee, now you got me all teary-eyed, and I'm sitting at my desk and people are walking by and asking me if I'm okay and all I can say is "I've never been better!"
Pammy, thanks so much for this lovely post. You know how I feel about you too....it's a mutual love fest.
This year has certainly been a whirlwind. When I think of how I was just one short year ago, and how far I've come in that year, it makes me want to hug the next morbidly obese person who crosses my path and whisper in their ear "there is hope.....you can do this too."
Thanks for your friendship, support, and continued inspiration. I couldn't have done it without you.
Edited to say: Oh Shoot....I hit the wrong reply button again....meant to post this under Pam's post. But those who love me know I mean well.

Eileen,
Happy Surgiversary! Pam said so many wonderful things and they are all true. You are a wonderful and kind person, who has done so well and someone I am glad to have met and become friends with. WLS helped us lose so much, but the reality is we gained more than we dreamed of, and the friendships are a big part of it!
Hugs and best wishes for your continued "successing", Laureen

My Mantra is that I do not determine my success by the number hanging in my closet, nor will I let the scale determine that success either. . . It is through trial and error I will continue to grow and succeed. . . Laureen
