PAck pain
Tanya, I had severe back pain around my 2nd week out - my surgeon told me it was due to them cutting thru stomach muscles and making that area weak, which caused more strain and pressure on my back. It lasted a few days and then just disappeared, but over those few days I could barely stand and walk - needed help from my husband just to get from bed to the bathroom. I broke down and took some pain meds from my surgery to get me thru it (had taken liquid Tylenol which I dumped on big time... - not fun). But anyway, that's where my pain came from - don't know if yours is the same or not, but it sounds like it is in the same area mine was. But definitely check with your PCP or surgeon - better safe than sorry...

for awhile from 3-9 months for the most part (i'm almost 9 1/2 months out if I sat for any period of time greater than 20 minutes I'd get horrific back pain. End of July timeframe I went to a chiropracter (12 visits in 4 weeks) he wanted me to continue but I actually felt worse.. I now had pain when you touched my back I didn't have that before. It was horrible standing up after sitting at work in a meeting .. I actually had to bring pain pills to work w/me if I was in an all day meeting or class .. I have noticed in the past few weeks that its getting somewhat better.. It might only happen to me 2-3 times a week now vs every single day.
I was told by someone early on it was from the weight loss. the chiro did not think that. All I know is I did not have this type of pain before surgery
