Wow, Karate....that is quite a workout.  I wouldn't be surprised if that helps you achieve your year end goal!  I can't even begin to imagine dealing with being stalked and attacked and I truly hope the enpowerment you gain will allay your fears.

Very cool activity HG. All the best with it and I know it will fuel your goals. Many of them.
Also thank you for being so candid about your past. That will help more people than you can imagine, including me.

Heather,

I think it's great that you are meeting a goal and empowering yourself all at the same time.  I had an incident when I was 15, I won't go into the details, but suffice it to say that I can completely relate to the feelings you have, feelings that can be triggered from out of the blue. . .  anyway, good luck, I'll bet you are posting one of these days that you are going for your black belt test

Hugs and best wishes, Laureen

Heather ,
Congrats to you on crossing another item off your to do list! I think that is just awesome~
Also thank you for sharing your past and finding the empowerment to protect yourself that alone is a HUGE thing. Good Luck on this new adventure.

Heather - That's awesome! This is a win-win activity....you get to have fun, get exercise and it enables confidence and security. It's on my list for the future too :) Good luck and have a blast!!

My HG,
My pride of you and your ongoing successing grows consistently.  You seem to know just how to stoke your fire when it's time.  You also never let yourself forget from where you came and the real tragedies and triumphs that can really mold who we become.  I am so proud of you for yet another level of self control.  You are surviving and kicking butt doing it.  I would like to do the 5K with you and have had the hankering to do martial arts for the last couple of months, so I may follow in your footsteps in that direction as well, Sensei.  Love to you, my Successing Sister.

How about lunch then?  I don't have to be at Brader's office until 1:00 and I took the whole day off of work.
