*****Saturday Roll Call*****
Soooooo what are your plans today?
I'll be spending the day with my best bud Shauna and we'll be very happy meeting, walking, talking, learning, supporting, mingling and just generally enjoying what will be the best place in our state to be today.
Yes West Conshohocken will be rockin with the best hearts and minds we know. There will be our well established friends along with the new friends we just can't wait to meet. So if you are coming and we sincerely hope you are, don't be shy. If you see Shauna or myself, or someone that looks like us, lol, step up, please greet us, if we don't greet you first.
This will be another unforgettable day spent with unforgettable people. ALL of you. Trust me, if this is your first gathering of this sort it won't be your last. You'll be seeking out and coming to events like this and our pilgrimages in the future.
It'll be magic, and we'll all understand it and love it.
See ya there!
Dennis
I will be leaving to hook up with some of my new friends made courtesy of this wonderful journey I began sometime ago and heading over to Conshohocken where I will be seeing you and some other friends I've made along the way, can't wait to see you all. Have a safe journey to Conshohocken all attending and those that aren't have a wonderful day!
Hugs, prayers and positive thoughts, Laureen

I am up and getting ready to leave for the event - just thought that I would check the site before I left in case there was some announcement or anything ( yes, I am anal like that). Not feeling real well today but I am going to try and tough it out as best as I can!
Looking forward to seeing you all there!
Liz
PS - I'll be the one in the lovely yellow Spring 2008 pilgrimage t-shirt (of course there is a long sleeved grey shirt under it and my fleece jacket on top!) lol
I am quite jealous I am not joining those going to the OH event. I would love to be there and meet with people. But.........family is first and today is my 9 years old day. Since his birthday was yesterday we will spend the day doing things he wants and running around.
We are going to a Pumpkin fest after lunch. There will be hay rides, pumpkin painting and various activities. They are excited. And I am hoping to grab a few nice pics because my boys are hard to get pics of. At this age they don't want to pose for mom anymore! LOL
Hope everyone has a great day! It looks like it's going to be beautiful out.
When life hands you lemons, ask for tequila & salt and give me a call!
Love,
Trish

Today I will be doing some more packing and cleaning, but not to much cause I did soooo much yesterday I lost some of my "fire" and I will be working on the house all day on Monday as well.
I have to run to the grocery store - it is a woman's at work bday (who I call "mama" cause she is an older Sicilian lady who treats us all like her children) I am making the lf buffalo chicken dip so I can have some too. I have brought it in before and it always goes over real well.
Other than that....I'm not quite sure. It'll be a nap in the afternoon and back to work tonight.
Pam
Buffalo Chicken Dip Version I
4 boneless skinless chicken breast halves cooked, chopped fine or shredded (you can use two forks for this)
1 to 1 1/2 cups bottle hot sauce
16 ounces of cream cheese (I use reduced fat)
2 cups or 16 ounces bottle Ranch dressing (I use low fat)
8 ounces Monterey Jack cheese or Cheddar Cheese, grated
Over medium heat combine ranch dressing, cream cheese. Heat slowly, stirring until cream cheese is melted and is even consistency. Stir in hot sauce.
Stir in chicken.
Pour into baking dish of your choice
Sprinkle with shredded cheese.
Bake uncovered at 350 degrees for 30-40 minutes or until bubbly. (Watch that the top doesn't get browned.) Let stand 10 minutes.
I bring chips for people at work, and fresh veggies, especially celery, for anyone else who wants them and of course me.
JoJo posted a very similar recipe. This is the version she makes:
Buffalo Chicken Dip Version II
4 boneless skinless chicken breast halves, boiled and shredded
1 12 ounce bottle hot sauce
2 8 ounce packages of cream cheese
1 16 ounce bottle Ranch dressing
1/2 cup chopped celery
8 ounces Monterey Jack cheese or Cheddar Cheese, grated
In a 13x9x2 inch baking pan, combine the shredded chicken meat with the entire bottle of hot sauce, spreading to make an even layer.
In a saucepan, combine the cream cheese and ranch dressing over medium heat until smooth.
Pour this mixture evenly over the chicken. Sprinkle with chopped celery and then shredded cheese.
Bake uncovered at 350 degrees for 30-40 minutes or until bubbly. (Watch that the top doesn't get browned.) Let stand 10 minutes.
Serve hot or warm with Doritos "Scoops" (you need a sturdy chip for this!) or celery sticks.
