Did we let the daily menu go at some point??  I think we did and I just realized it over the weekend, so I will get the ball rolling again.  What are you eating today?

I am just over 2  years out.

B:  3/4 cup Special K protein cereal with 4 oz skim milk......14 grams
S:  Cheese.....8 grams
L:  Weigh****chers meal.....22 grams
S:  Pear
D:  Turkey burger, no bun, cheese, turnup greens, tomato....30 grams

Decaf with skim....5 grams

I brought a baggy full of sf popsicles in to try to fight off the grazing I have been struggling with at work.

Yep - the menu thing kind of fell by the wayside.  A few weeks ago JoJo (I think) had started it up again - but we haven't been consistent.

I'm annoyed because out of no where the scale says I'm up about 5 pounds.  It's not that time of the month and I have been very careful - except that last night I did something I normally don't do and had 2 light schmirnoff ice beverages.  Perhaps that has something to do with it?  Anyway - need to be pretty careful this week to try to get that number to move.

11 mos out tomorrow:

B:  Greek Yogurt 18gm
S:  2 cheesesticks 16gm
L:  Ham and cheese 15gm
S:  Three Cheese Tortellini w/ fresh mozz and home made spaghetti sauce 15gm
**nap time before work**
At work:
Ricotta cheese 20gm
SB Protein Bar 10gm

Total:  94gm
Instead of complaining that the rosebush has thorns, be happy that the thorn bush has roses.

B- 1/2 scrambled egg with cheese and 1/2 sausage pattie
S- 2 oz apple sauce cup u/s
L- 2 slices of pepper turkey lunch meat and a slice of cheese
S-1/2 banana
D - unsure

will fit a shake in here some where!

Grazing at work is becoming an issue for me as well - right now I'm not that busy, so picking at stuff is very easy to do. I brought a lot of 'good' stuff in with me today - I don't graze on sweets or anything like that, but crunchy carbs are my downfall. And I didn't weigh myself this morning, either, and I usually do that on Mondays, but this week is my TOM so that's never a good time to weigh in!

As for men I think this is what it is:

B: Protein Shake = 25
S: Banana & Small Protein Bar = 15
L: Progesso Lite Soup, Stringcheese, TLC Crackers = 15
S: Apple w/Simply Jiff PB = 8
D: Salad; Angel hair pasta w/sauce & meatballs = 15
S: SF Pudding = 2

Total = 80 (Goal is 73 g protein per day)

S: s/f - f/f cheesecake pudding with protein powder 10 grams
L: 2 /12 ounces of seared cajun shrimp with red pepper sauce, 1/4 c potatoes 18 grams
S: small can V-8 and l/f cheesestick 5 grams
D: Shelly's Ricotta Bake 18 grams
S: 1/2 c Fage yogurt and 1/2 scoop vanilla protein powder 19 grams
TOTAL:  77 grams
TARGET:  70 grams

i'm 7 weeks out and here is my menu today:

l - homemade chicken soup - 15g
s - light laughing cow cheese - 8 g
d - chicken salad on lettuce - 22g

total - 78 g (goal 65g)

Grazing at work has been bad for me.  I am used to doing one on one therapy. It is very intense and you dont eat while doing it. Now I am sitting at a desk on the phone in front of a computer you better bet I am grazing. I have gained 5 lbs since starting this damn job.

Popscicles that is a good idea. I am starting to use my nutritionist info about 1 cup of food.
Did you know that 1 scrambled egg is 1/2 a cup. See I was not doing as bad as i thought. well at least not for breakffast it. It is the whole can of nuts at work that does it. LOL

B- I scrambled egg with cheese and onions.

S- Chai latte

L- 1 cup of meatballs.

S- 1 cup of greek yogurt with SF preserves.

D- will probably be a south beach meal. screw the cup they arent that big. lol

I have been eating a piece of toast or something at night when  get home at 1pm. because i need a transition. I think tonight I will drink a protein shake instead.
I am used to eating every 3 hrs so we will see if this works. I have to say I am panicking looking at the menu thinking i am gonna starve. Thank God for my small pouch and CBT techniques.

I find this post helpful too. Glad it's back!

6 months out and I struggle with variety. Some food still tastes like crap to me. sigh.

BF: fasting (had 6 month labs drawn today)
S: small banana
L: CHOBANI 17 gr. w/added grapenuts
S: Protein shake 17gr.
D: ??? not sure yet ... have to come up with 30 grams of protein somewhere.

Protein goal 64gr.
