Who's getting their excersise groove on?? Tuesday Edition

Good morning!!!

Well I had some technical difficulties this morning...My iPod died!!! Ugh all my workout playlists were on it..hubby is going to try to fix it tonight but if he can't it will be off to buy a new one because I CANNOT work out with out it!!!!

Anyways due to that fiasco at 4 am my time got away from me so I am packing my workout clothes and changing into them after work and coming home and doing my hour on the treadmill followed by 20 mins on the weight machine! I'll check in after and let you know how I did! (Say a prayer for my iPod!!)

What is on your excersise agenda for today????

My daughter came home from college for the weekend and the day/time got so far away that I didn't walk.  So today as soon as I get home I will be changing and walking immediately.  I also will start adding some weights to the walk!

As i hace always done i wonder/wallk through thte hospital at night when were not busy but i had planned on going on abike ride this am. BUT as you had technical difficulties so did I. I picked my bike up yesterday after having  a tune up and didnt notice they had raised the seat and i cant find an alen wrench to lower it and i figure reachign the pedal would be a good thing...LOL.  I know not  a good excuse but at this point i just worked 12 hrs and am going back in tongiht for another 12 so i will go thursday and not worry about the seat today.

Laura that really bites about the iPod!! I know mine went whacky a few weeks ago and I was panicked that I'd have to buy a new one, but it finally straightened itself out. I can't exercise without my music, either.

I got up at 4:45 and did 8 miles on my bike - had a really good work-out - probably could have gone 9 but I kept the tension up on it this morning to really work my legs. Tonight I'll either go to the gym or use my handweights at home.

I ended up taking a 'holiday' from working out yesterday - I busted butt for the previous 6 days so I was due for a day off.

I got up at 5 am again (ok, 5:10am) and did my step n sweat video around 6ish, and got to work by 8. It's hard to get used to getting up and exercising that early, I still don't feel myself. Tomorrow and the rest of the week I am scheduled for nights, so that will be better.

Every morning after i drop the kids off at school i drive straight to Bally Total Fitness...if i go home i will never get back out the workout! lol

My routine is to stay for 1hr each morning. I usually do 30mins on the treadmill but do 30mins on the bike or eliptical trainer

Hi Laura and PA!

Laura -- I hope your ipod is feeling better ;)

Sorry again for the late post -- I am still trying to catch up on the past few days.  On Tuesday, I did 33 minutes on the elliptical, 30 minutes of Pilates, took one 15-minute walk outside, one 10-minute walk outside, and did some arm free weights.
