Tanya, BREATH.  Slowly breath in and out and concentrate on your breaths.  Don't worry about the time, you will know soon enough.  Just breath, and relax.  You will do fine.

Trish

You ARE stong and you WILL Get through this!! it is just all the anxiety - your sweetie coming home, the surgery tomorrow, work today. Taking a bath and just resting are your best bet. Everything will go fine! This is a totally normal case of the jitters! This is a major life changing event so it is totally OK to have the jitters - just know that you are going to walk in there tomorrow and everything is going to be ok - then the best times of your life will begin! Focus on the positives too - your sweetie is coming home JUST FOR YOU! When you need him most!

Try and take some deep breaths and know that all will be OK!!!! Best of luck tomorrow!!

Tanya ...Just try to relax I think we all crack at one point before our surgery. The morning of mine waiting in the lobby I asked my aunt to leave and go to Cheeseburger Cheeseburger. She said NO of course and then we laughed.

You did your research and made your choice you are gonna do awesome. Take your bath and relax and before you know it you will be on the losing side

You'll be alright - I know - easier said than done.

I had my freak out AT the hospital.  I was "fine" up to that, the morning of, even the drive up there.  I walked in - had a Q&A session w/ the nurses and then lost it.  Blubbering idiot in the waiting room crying and crying and crying....not just a few tears.... I mean, SOBBING  To the point where one nurse said "You do not appear confident in your decision, and if you are not confident, we will cancel your surgery here and now"  Talk about a way to get the tears to stop!!  I had worked so hard, no way was I backing out now!!

So, anyway - you are normal.  Take a few deep breaths.  Get rid of the what ifs.  What if you walked onto the street and got hit by a car?  A certain level of fear is expected and is normal.  There are what ifs in life at any given moment and if we allowed ourselves to focus only on that - well - we would be walled up by ourselves rocking in a corner back and forth.

See you on the bench - we have a spot just for you!

being very close to where you are now Tanya - 4 days post-op, I can say REFUSE to allow yourself to panic.

I thought for sure I would completely freak before surgery and in the end I didn't. I was totally ok.

Mind over matter - you made the choice to do this when you had all your wits about you now just put yourself in the zone and one foot in front of the other.

By this time tomorrow you'll be sitting at the losers table with us.

I am not even gonna tell you to relax because I know how you feel. But I will remind you that what you are going through is normal, we were all there. Try and utilize the people who know you best and support you.
