Hey all,

Well I just got home and I am doing well. I do kind of feel like I got hit by a truck but think that' most still just trying to detox from the drugs. I have little to no discomfort at all in my tummy other than a little bit of lower intestinal gas rumbling around.

It's all still a little sureal.

Catch you all after a nice nap and thanks to everyone who stopped in to visit and sent support messages.

Welcome home Melanie - that was a great post from the nurses at Barix - they're fantastic, aren't they!! Glad to hear you're doing well - give yourself some time - walk, sip, breathe - it all helps.

Hi Melanie,
I am so sorry I was unable to visit you while you were in the hospital.  I got called to work at the last minute for Monday and Tuesday.  Hopefully, I will be at the next post-op meeting and we can meet then.

Keep sipping and walking.  Glad you are home.

That Mack Truck feeling is totally normal.

Hugs,
Trish

Glad you're also home and doing well!  I think it's going to almost feel weird to sleep through a whole night without anyone coming in to check my vitals or tell me it's time to walk!
