Under Restructure
Ok, I hate this. I'm great at ideas and horrible at implementing them. For several weeks now I've been trying to recommit myself to my WLS journey. I've been doing ok at it. Basically, I'm going as liquid as possible w/Profect supplements. I'm trying to concentrate on water intake and vitamins and exercise like I did in the beginning. I know Nan's always changing up things. Now I see Nicole and Heather trying to. Laureen's struggling. I'm thinking we need to make a little subgroup of those 18 mos/2 years out and try to figure out how to help each other get to those last 40lbs. or less we want to hit goal, or plastics or whatever. If we need a separate meeting for this we can do it at my place on Sat. morns. or a convenient restaurant or meet weekly for exercise and psych. I'm open to anyone expanding this idea til it comes to fruition.

Jackie Great minds always think alike. I was thinking of making a proposal. As you know I have run a group based on the beck book.. I was thinking that I would be wiling to run the same group via chat room one night a week for our board if anyone is interested. It would be informal and all would have to buy their own copy of the book.
What do you think?
I am also interested in a post post op meeting. My house is also open and I am willing to drive for it as well. I could not do it every weekend obviously but probably once a month.

I'd be up for a chat room one night in addition to an 18-24 meeting group. I started the Beck's book you sent me. I think if you lead a group based on it it would be a help; another perspective and weapon in our arsenal. In addition, I'd like to see us meet or rotate at people's houses maybe twice a month and/or do some exercise activity when we meet. Maybe all do a video in someone's basement or something. What I'm thinking is that we need to share ideas and be accountable to each other and that's done better face to face. I'm sure there are things you are doing that might help me and maybe my listening to the issues in your life might help you; that sort of thing. We all know the rules; we all also know that at 24 mos. out we can eat just about anything and flex those rules. I was under the impression that would be hard to do....its not. I don't have other vices in my life and I really don't want to start any....I just want to control THIS one and push or pull myself to the finish line. As far as the chat room for me, I get home at 8pm at night so I'd be up for doing it around 9/9:30. My husband works on Saturdays so Sat. mornings are great for me.
