Appreciation Thursday
I appreciate ....
that I had the courage to "fire" my PCP doctor after my visit last week when she was clueless on lots of things that have been going on with me.
That last night I met a new PCP doctor who knows some details about WLS and is vvery happy to work with me and she sat to listen to me just talk to get to know one another. I feel confident in her hands.
that I had the courage to stand up to a friend about acting like a "fool" when she goes out with me and drinks.
that I was able to get an extra large t-shirt at Neil Diamond concert.
Special-K with protein w/ banana for breakfast and be filled with the recommended serving! Measuring cups are my friend.
My growing friendships with wonderful new people!

I appreciate:
having my daughter, her fiance, and my granddaughter finally up here living with us in PA.. it was soooo hard with them so far away.
being able to spend my days being a full time Grandma!
having an understanding husband..even if he can be a pain sometimes!
having this board to turn to for help, support, or just a smile!
having a wonderful, loving sister...who lives too darned far away, but is ALWAYS there for me, no matter what.
not having to work full time anymore (for the moment)
having a really nice home and feeding deer, racoons, skunk, chipmunks, squirrels, birds, turkey and ducks in my back yard (and I live in a residential area!!!!)
