stomach virus - what if?
The prissy pouch post just got me thinking... what IS it like to have a dreaded stomach bug after WLS? Is it very painful & dangerous... physically .. & imposes big dangers of dehydration, etc?
Yikes. Tummy bugs are bad enough now. I'd be scared to feel like I was going to die or something!
((don't mind me... I'm super emotional today... pre-surgery mind attacks...))

If you don't, you'll find excuses."
I think I have had one stomach bug since my surgery, and it was no different than before my surgery. The ulcer was more painful, but I had already had ulcers prior to surgery, so I knew what they felt like for the most part.
I have been blessed so far. I am almost two years out, and have not vomited yet. Wanted to? Yes. But have not done so.
Don't let your fears play with your mind. You will be fine with the surgery. We are here to attest to that fact.
Hugs,
Trish
