Thursday Roll Call!!
WEll Good Morning Everyone!
Seems like tough times have come upon the PA board - if everyone can just send a little extra prayer / positive thoughts / good vibes out to everyone Lisa, Geri, Shannon, Trish sorry if I missed anyone -this is Liz -pre-coffee!.
Our Little Miss Geri is in surgery this morning to zap those blasted stones so an extra prayer that that all goes successfully!
Today has me at work for yet another crazy day, I came into a pile on my desk and voicemails... never a good start to the day! After work I am going to the chiro and home to crash. I have my little friend and it is kicking my butt this month!
Hope everyone makes the most of the day!
Keep hydrated it is going to be another hot one!

Good Morning Liz,
Thanks for the good thoughts. I am praying for Geri today.
Yesterday was a better day for me. I was able to get through without sugar. So, I have 61 days of sobriety and 1 day without sugar under my belt. So far so good. I did not get the cleaning done I wanted to do yesterday, but that is okay. I did get my allergy shot, which was my top priority, along with a good swim.
Today has me heading back to the hospital for work, and then to the pool for my swim. Must have swim, weather permitting.
Have a blessed day.
Hugs,
Trish

Good Morning Liz & PA Posters!
My prayers and positive thoughts are being said for all, with special mention to those that are going through the upheaval that life can bring our way at times!
My day today will consist of mowing my front and backyards, going to traffic court to hopefully get out of the points associated with a ticket I got when I was out with my g/f's celebrating my birthday last month, then driving up to Hillsborough, NJ to visit with my dearest old friend and hang by her pool and catch up on one another's life, it should be interesting, she hasn't seen me since I was a new post-op back in early November, she is one of the few people who has seen me at the weight I am currently at now, but the last time I was here I was 20something. . . anyway, that's my plan and I'm sticking to it, add an AA meeting at the end of it all and I will have had a successful day.
Wishing you all the best day possible and if it's not, the grace to deal with whatever comes your way.
Hugs, prayers and positive thoughts, Laureen

My Mantra is that I do not determine my success by the number hanging in my closet, nor will I let the scale determine that success either. . . It is through trial and error I will continue to grow and succeed. . . Laureen

I have been awake since 6am because I am so worried... so I'm going to shower and then try to mow the yard while Lorelei is still asleep... and then try to pick up her crazy toys... also have a goal of getting photos taken of some old fat clothes hehehe... and see if I can sell them on craig's list...
But thank you for all the good vibes, wishes, fingers crossed, and prayers!!

Liz,
With friends like that one who needs enemies, right? Mine did the same just a few weeks ago - I feel your pain (and fatigue and everything else that goes along with that!)
Anyway - I'm gonna be heading out to the gym. I didn't bring my work out bag with me to work which I normally do - and I'm not one for "going back out" but I absolutely MUST so I will. I think today I will spend some time in the pool for my workout - I haven't done that in quite some time.
After that it will be back home to see hubby once he gets up and then go to bed myself. Back to work tonight so nothing terribly exciting.

Instead of complaining that the rosebush has thorns, be happy that the thorn bush has roses.
Good morning everyone,
Well, I'm surprised to say that I don't feel too exhausted today. I didn't get home last night from that job in Media until 7:00. I was there from 9:30 a.m. It didn't start until 10:30. Took a break at 1:00. Came back at 1:45 and I wrote until 6:00. Needless to say, my fingers were extremely tired. To put it in perspective, I came home and put the job on the computer to translate it and it said I wrote over 56,000 strokes on my little steno machine!!!! That's crazy. But I'm doing all right this morning.
Today has me dropping Connor off for almost the last day of his summer camp. And then I'm visiting my MIL and then heading down to Thomas Jefferson for a follow-up for my biliary tube. Sounds exciting, right!!! I just want this darn thing out of me.
Well, have a good one!!

Morning all - hugs and lots of prayers going out to everyone experiencing some of life's uglier moments right now - its never fun and I hope they all come thru their trials and tribulations safely and quickly.
I'm a little behind today - at home - stupid foot is swollen and now ice isn't helping either. Walking is almost impossible. Have an appt with a podiatrist today at 4:30 - was honestly thinking about going to the ER but hubby talked me out of it (probably because he didn't want to sit there), and I really believe ER is for people who are bleeding to death or some other severe trauma.
So I'm not exercising or doing anything else - I'm home and getting ready to sit in my chair and prop this big old FAT foot up. Hopefully the doctor will be able to determine what I did to the damn thing and fix it.
Okay - that's it from whiney girl this morning...will be checking in from time to time to see how everyone is doing.
