**Hijack**  Sorry trish - I don't want to "push away" such an important post

HT -

I was at HW's house this past month but missed you hubby and the babies - but darn that signature line with their lil pics is just so cute.  I also heard "through the grape vine" that mom is looking quite fab and is already below pre pregnancy weight?  Way to work a post surgery post pregnancy routine there woman!  Hope all is well!

Thanks Pam....We didn't stay long at the meeting (due to the heat and I didn't want to interrupt the meeting too much)...Sorry that I missed you!!  I am sure that they will be making another appearance soon!
Believe it or not, I am about 10 lbs down from my pre-preg weight...which I was at for about 5 months prior to getting pregnant!   I was joking that you don't need to do the 5 day pouch test anymore, just get pregnant, LOL.
Hope to see ya soon!

Thanks Heather.  I cannot believe it has been two years either.  I do feel good about the accomplishments I have experienced, as I am learning a lot about myself in this journey.  I am also grateful that I have a stubborn streak that if I want to succeed at something, I will come Hell or high water.

Those babies are just adorable, by the way.  I hope you enjoy every blessed moment with them.  They grow up all too fast.

Hugs,
Trish

“Failure is not falling down but refusing to get up.”

I Like this quote I dislike this quoteIf you get up one more time than you fall you will make it through.

I appreciate that saying.  I used to remind myself of that, but had long forgotten it.  Thanks for reminding me.  I am definitely getting up.

Hugs,
Trish

Trish,

So much good advise as been given but you have always been supportive when I posted a struggle or doubt. I want you to know that you can do this and at the end of the day we are all human. When we fall we can choice to stay there on teh ground or get up off the ground to fight. It sounds to me like you are up and fighting.

I see you are keeping your apppointment with Dr. Marymor good you need to do that and you already have 60 days sober under your belt. I am so happy for you for that. Take one day at a time that is all we can do. I just read this some place and for the love of bananas forget where but we spend so much time trying to relive the past or worry abuot teh furture we forget to live for today. Focus on each day and enjoy it if you should fall reach out to one of us we will lend you a hand to get back up.

Also I know you have lots of obligations yet sometimes you just have to make the time for yourself.

I am cheering for you!

Thanks Beth,
I was lovingly reminded that some of my obligations are just excuses not to be there by a fellow Barix Buddie.  She is right.  My mother always tells everyone, "When Trisha sets her mind to do something, come Hell or high water, she does it, and nothing gets in her way."  If I make the meeting a priority, I will be there.  I know I did not go through both the RNY and the hernia surgery to stay stuck where I am.  I am going to continue to move forward and reach my goal.

I am so grateful for the Barix family, and the rest of the PA OH family.

Hugs,
Trish

 Trish

As so many have said, you are terrific for putting your honest feelings out here for all to read.  These failures scare the heck out of me because I know it could be me with weight gain and other struggles.  Every time I read an honest post about struggles and failures I learn something.  I learn that I must get it out in the open so I do not have to struggle alone. I learn that as humans we are challenged daily.  It's like we are constantly being pulled in two directions and we need so much strength to stay on the "good" path.  I am convinced that one of the keys to our successing with this WLS is to be involved in a support group.  I'm glad that you will attend the August meeting.

wishing you the best
