Roll Call

Hi Nicole & PA posters!

Planning is a must for me, though I do much better with it during the workweek, I really don't like the shakes anymore, but keep a few Chikes around, as the protein bars are so carb laden and carbs scare me, as they are truly my nemesis, and it seems almost everything has some and I read labels much closer these days then ever before, as one day there was a sale on Lean Cusine's, so I thought well those should be good to keep on hand in a pinch, then I started reading the labels, which one had 13 grams of sugar, the carb counts sometimes topping 38 grams or better, well I certainly changed my mind in a hurry on stocking up, though a few were within a range that with careful planning I was able to have on hand in the freezer, generally, I just stick to cooking on Sunday's, portioning and freezing, packing my lunch bag Sunday night's for the workweek, which keeps me in control of what is in my food plan.  Still, there are those times when pretzels and crunchy things call my name, so I, too, try to keep a supply of soy crisps and other more healthy things handy and I package things in single portion size, so that I don't get carried away as I can, if I'm eating from the bag or box. . .  Summer fruits are oh so yummy, I do try to limit those to no more than 2x a day.

Wishing you the best with your 5-day pouch reset and getting back on track.

Hugs, prayers and positive thoughts, Laureen
