Hida Scan
Officially scheduled for Wednesday 9am. I have to have nothing by mouth for 4 hours before except small sips of water if needed.
Apprantly the test can take up to four hours to complete - it depends on how fast the dye goes to "every" organ. They will inject me, scan me, and then re scan me until it's all through my body. I may be asked to leave for an hour or two while they wait for the dye if it is taking a long time.
Hopefully this doesn't interfere with me attending the meeting on Wednesday night and also hopefully answers all my questions.

Hi jack! Melanie I didn't think anyone else lived in Danboro! LOL I just moved out - we lived on Old Easton Rd for a few years - in Easton now. If you need anything I drive right by every day on my way to/from work!

We live at the intersection of Burnt House Hill and Point Pleasant.
Very possible! WE rented right over on Old Easton Road - at Bucks County Rug Cleaning. We bought a house in January though, now we are in Easton. Oh and keep a look out - I'm going to be having a support group meeting at my house next month. ANd I host one at Doylestown hospital the 3rd thurs of the month at 6pm if you are ever interested!

Pam - I think that I had one of these done pre-op. I had to go in and they would inject the dye then they took pictures every so often for hours, I was there forever and just left feeling weak and tired. Oh and a migraine from not eating! Other then that it wasn't painful or anything - just an inconvenience.
Good luck with it and keep us posted!
