Monday's Menu
Good Rainy morning everyone! I know Nan is taking a break from menu posting to do her own thing so here goes nothing. Please note that I have a few extra snacks to combat the side effects of the prednisone!
B: 1/2 english muffin and cantaloupe
S: 2 oz cheddar cheese
S: 2 oz low fat mozz cheese
L: broccoli with garlic and ricotta
S: fage yogurt
S: protein bar
D: steak and corn
S: fat free pudding made with soy milk
Still have to get my totals but that should meet my 76 goal. And of course I will take my vitamins at bed time and have in 64 ounces of fluid - at least!
Make Great choices!

Well, I scared myself if it makes you feel any better :) hee hee. I'm feeling much better. Although food had seemingly nothing to do with it - I'm scared to eat. I was on full liquids for most of Saturday and Sunday - Dr. P had said I could have pureed food as early as Saturday afternoon and solids by Sunday - but I wasn't to comfortable with that. Although last night I had some roast chicken (no skin) mashed potatoes, fat free gravy and all sat well. On the bright side - I suddenly can't eat "as much" as I used to - so that's a decent thing.
Glad your back is almost better - make sure to take it easy so you don't reinjur it!
