***Tuesday Roll Call***
Good Grief, it is Tuesday already. Well, my Monday was interesting. I went shopping with my daughter and the munchkin after a doctor's appointment. I have a cyst on my collarbone that I am going to have removed due to my seatbelt constantly rubbing against it. Well, we shopped for a few hours in the Oxford Valley Mall, till the munchkin got too cranky for public display. She was just plain tired. We did hit the Disney store, and found a Disney Princess baseball for her to play with. She loves balls, and had a Disney Princess birthday party on Saturday. She also got a toy phone with the princesses on it. When I got home, I got a message that my boss at the hospital needs me to work the rest of the week to cover for a therapist who will be out. So, I will be working today at the hospital. Not sure what the evening will hold for me. I kind of fly by the seat of my pants when the kids are in town. Have a great day. Hugs, Trish

I'm at work today as usual, and looking forward to the Barix pre-op meeting tonight. I got some exciting news yesterday -- after scrambling late last week to get some bloodwork done to replace a HgA1C test that was lost by the lab (ugh!), Barix received the results yesterday morning, and as of yesterday afternoon my file was sent to Scheduling, and I was told that I should hear from them this week. I can't wait to get my date!!!! I had such a huge sense of relief once I heard that. I feel like all my running around to get clearances and insurance approval is finally paying off! I was up early today so I went for a one mile walk before work. I think I have been guilty of wearing the wrong shoes lately and it's giving me plantar fasciitis. :( My heel was burning when I first woke up and it hurt to walk on it when I first got out of bed. I gave it some time and did some flexing exercises, which helped, and when I put on my sneakers to take a walk I felt pretty good. But now that I'm at work, wearing a pair of slip-on sandals, it's back to hurting again. I hope this is something that improves with weight loss because right now it's a real pain in the foot! Have a good day all. Lesley
