***Tuesday Roll Call***
Good Tuesday Morning Everyone,
The Munchkin is arriving sometime today and I have been cleaning like a madwoman and can't sleep, so I am up blogging and vaccuming and making sure the place is babyproof, coz she is walking and gets into everything now. Can you tell I am excited?
I set up the Pack N Play, and get her a stroller so they would not have to pack hers for the trip. I also got her a little toy bike thing that is too cute. I plan to take her swimming, and got her one of those swimmie things that she can sit in and float around in. I have a ton of stuffed animals all over the apartment, gifts from my children and relative and former students and souvenirs from Boyd's Bear Country in Gettysburg. We are having a birthday party for her on Saturday, so I can't wait for that. I got her a pink and white Westbrook Eagles jersey size 18 months in a onesie. It is too cute.
So, Tuesday has me babysitting the munchkin. Colleen and Trent plan to drive through the night, because it is easier to drive with her asleep in the backseat than deal with her awake and whining. So, when they arrive, I will go get her, and take her to a park for some time to play on the swings, give her breakfast. Play with her, take her swimming, weather permitting, put her down for a nap, and then play with her some more. Somewhere in there, I will cook dinner for the kids and my sister.
Can you tell I am psyched?
Have a great day.
Hugs,
Trish

Ah Trish, I'm so envious that you're getting to spend the day with your munchkin, but so happy for you, too! Enjoy every moment you have with her because I know they are too few and far between. Today has me at work - overslept this morning so I didn't get my bike ride in or the walk with the dog - I was really sound asleep. So tonight both will be on my agenda. Other than that not much new going on here. Have some errands to run at lunch - some things to return to TJ Maxx, a quick jaunt into Trader Joe's and the card store. That's about it for me. Hope everybody has a great day. Kathy
Good Morning everyone!!!
I am working today, LOL I feel like I work every day.
I was not around yesterday due to work. Has anyone noticed that this JOB has taken over my life. LOL
Ok so seriously I am waiting on the ESurance claims adjuster to call me today. You are not going to believe this but I was involved in a car accident on Saturday. I guy mowing his lawn on a riding mower rode right out into the road without looking and hit my van right dead center of the passanger side sliding door. I know I know, and its ok if you laugh. The Police officer said that in 20 years, this is his first riding mower accident. LOL I was not laughing at all that day. I actually set the record of how many curse words you can fit into one sentence. I had my children in the van so I used it as a learning tool for them, they now have seen what can happen if you dont look both ways before entering the road. Later that day it hit me like a ton of bricks, I was put in his path by God to protect him from the semi truck barrelling down the road in the other direction. I am not so mad about my van anymore. I did speak to the guy later that day and he said that it hit him, about 6 hours later, that he could have been killed. I said 'Yeah that is what I was screaming at you" .
So now I wait to find out how long I will have my van in the shop to replace the door.
We are also prepairing for our camping trip in 2 days, so this was a busy last 3 days. We leave thursday and come home on Sunday.

Wow! Roll call was such a gread reading experience today! Trish - you sound soooo excited, I'm happy for you! Katie, I wish you luck on this emotional journey today. Jen- OMG to funny!! Sorry to laugh at your expense, but jimminy cricket! Did he get a speeding ticket?? lol. I'm glad you were able to see the good side in that incident.
Today has me going to the tattoo parlor for the first session of my tattoo. She sent me her rough draft last night - I'm having her make a few minor changes to it. I didn't quite realize how big it was going to be - but she's very much into detail and because of that, it's a large piece. I'm very excited about it. I have two other tattoos already. The thing of it is, though, is that I am very nervous. Somehow I think because I have less "back padding" on me, this one will hurt a lot more than the others. We'll certainly find out. Hubby is going with me - and will be there for me to hold onto if the pain is to bad. Of course, he'll also be the one laughing at me as well. Oh, and did I mention that my artist emailed me at like 2am?? hello! Please go to bed, I would prefer you to be awake when you are making permament marks on my body! HA!
Anywho - that's about it on the agenda today beyond putting away the 7 loads of laundry I got done yesterday. If I'm not in to much pain, I may run some errands - although - that will probably be tomorrow.

LOL Nope no speeding ticket.
Pam put off the errands till tomorrow. You may not be to sore but if you remember from last time, the less you move and rub stuff the better results you will have. I am very jealous that you are getting ink today and I am not. I have 5 small ones but want one more. I want one that makes people stop and ask questions. Even if the only thing they ask is " OMG that is hugh did it hurt"
And now I have answers for those questions...YES it is huge and YES it hurt! I'll post about it in a second. The errands got put on hold - actually - so did some of my appointment. FIL collapsed at work and was unconscious for about 1/2 hour BP dropped to something like 70/40 (and he weighs about 350 pounds...so that is definately not normal for him) We spent most of the afternoon in the hospital. We left before they had any answers - MIL was supposed to call us - but in good ol fashioned MIL way - she did not. I'm sure we'll be in trouble for leaving - althogh she knew why (I had to take my bandages off and wa**** and re apply the bacitracin and stuff).... Pam
