Stress is less, but there are days ( like today) that I have lots of pain. Then I can relax and not worry about doing anything.

Hello Yvonne & Jeannie!

I've been really tired today so not real motivated. I hope it's bc of the heat & humidity after a few nice days. But I have been tired off & on for months so I may need to get some blood work if it doesn't improve.

I love finding bargains at 2nd hand stores & love to yard sale. I especially like finding well made expensive clothes I can now fit in at a fraction of the original price!

I worked 4 hours this morning, but have not done much since. I don't know if I am up to walking tonite...have to see.

Food has been okay...not 100%, but an improvement!

B - protein shake

S - protein bar

L - a couple cheese ravioli

D -cheese omelette

Everyone have a great evening!

Kathy

Keep going, and posting. Love reading. Plus you are developing Bones for a Book.

How is being unemployed shaping up? Are pains lessening? Am thinking work stress maybe gone, but health and money stresses remain...sooo? Physical pains remain?

Hugs

Jennifer

Yvonne,

When my children were babies, I had left their father because he was a low-life, good-for-nothing, drunk. Unfortunately, I had to leave while he was at work. I had been putting things together for a few days so on that day, I had just enough room in the trunk of the woman who was helping leave to carry a couple of boxes and a suitcase filled with clothes.  I took our clothes, pictures, shoes, and a couple of blankets and that was it. So, I had to start out all over and I shopped at a used store that was operated by an organization that supported mentally retarded folks and sadly the name of the store was "The Retarded Thrift Store."  I kid you not.  But, I was able to outfit my house with the things we needed.  A few months after I left him, his brother's wife, went over to his house and got a few of the things that I hated leaving, like my cast iron frying pan and my two big mixing bowls.  Also she got my son's baby bed and my daughter's twin bed.  I still love to go to second hand stores and find those items that aren't that expensive in regular stores but the older versions are often made so much better.  Recently, I was looking for an antique crock and found an apple peeler.  It hooks to the cabinet and has a handle that you turn after you stick the apple on this long thing that also removes the core.  Anyway, it's those little things that make junking such a fun thing.

Tomorrow is DH's Friday and we head into a three day weekend. Yeah!  I started another quilt top and am excited to say I am venturing out of the quilts that I am comfortable doing...I am actually making a star burst....it's fun cutting out but I am sure the putting it together will kick my butt.  I also found a couple of sacks of material I bought last year so I have been making ponchos for my daughter and granddaughter.  I actually made my daughter a really nice denim poncho that I lined because she runs around on the farm and a poncho can be thrown on and not confine her.  Normally, I make the ponchos waist length but the lined denim one I made to her knees and she is 6 ft tall so you know it's a lot of material....I even included pockets so she can put keys in the pocket or gloves....Yep, retirement is boring as hell. LOL

B: loaded oatmeal, again.

L: Fried rice with shrimp

D: Vegetable soup with corn bread

Snacks: he brought home another watermelon...will they ever stop growing?

Ladies, enjoy your day and connect with someone...don't isolate yourselves...

Good Evening Everyone,

I've been in PA with my family all week, and for some strange reason can't connect my laptop to her Wifi.

I have been sugar free since the 28th.  That is a miracle.

I brought Mom back with me, and I'm hoping she stays long.  My sister's house is horrific.

Must scoot.

Hugs,

Trish
